Now, it definitely is up to personal taste, but if you are a lover of black and white-you could sport a pair of white peep toe patent platform shoes with a pair of black tights, textured tights, or black fishnets with a black and white outfit.
6. White will make your legs look bigger, which is good for women with thin legs. Black and darker colors are slimming. Wearing your skirt, opaque tights, and shoes all in the same color will give you the appearance of being taller and slimmer. Drastic color changes can chop you up, chose colors wisely.

7. Winter months call for a more substantial shoe than in the summer. Patent, canvas, and faux suede are excellent choices in the colder climates that have snow and wet weather. In the warmer climates silks will work for an evening dress shoe.

8. Peep toe shoes are a kick back to the pin-up days. The days of glamour, silky smooth hair, tailored clothing, satins, silks, cashmeres. And, winter time is the time for layering and wearing interesting sweaters.
You can create a great silhouette, for example, a boxy sweater that opens to show a satin blouse. Under that opens to a camisole which matches your tights. Your high heels could be in a complimentary color or a matching shade.
9. Or in the case of a pair of great red and white polka dot platform shoes, you could have a pair of black tights with red polka dots, a black and white dress with red accents. Couple this with a red belt, red earrings, and red nail polish.
10. Since metallic, gold and silver peep toe high heels are hot, you can wear charcoal or gray tights with a pewter platform peep toe. Gray or blue tights pair well with silver shoes and brown with gold pumps.
